Master Ridvan Manav established the Australian Martial Arts & Fitness Academy in Marrickville in 1982. Since then he has worked hard to build not only a successful Academy but also a thriving community. Today the Academy is a Black Belt Success School that offers a “Black Belt Guarantee”. As our student we will commit ourselves assisting in the achievement of your targets and to attaining your personal best. Our highly trained instructors will guide any willing student through the training to achieve both the skill level and self-image required for the rank of Black Belt. Our Academy has some of the worlds best in the martial arts sector. At the Australian Martial Arts we teach that perfect technique is only one part of becoming a martial artist. As part of the Academy you are taught to develop an appreciation for Taekwondo as a sport and an art. As well as achieve physical fitness through positive participation and improve your mental discipline and emotional equanimity. Children will also learn vital life skills as part of the unique age specific programs.
